I'm a drama nerd. Just because you've had a major role in a play and enjoy acting doesn't make you a drama nerd. I see myself as more of a drama/art/music nerd. ( Read more... )
Book Challenge: Read 50 books in the next 12 months. Starting June 2006.
Code: Title - Author. R = Re-read. * = recommended. *... = Recommended but with cautions.
Books I have read so far:
1. Born Amish - Ruth Irene Garrett and Deborah Morse-Kahn. * - if you are interested in Amish living. Short book but informative. Lots of color pictures of Amish people. I bought this book in August 2006 and just finished reading it 2 weeks ago. It was due solely to time constraints caused by school and work. Had I been back in high school this book would have been read in a week or so.
Currently reading:
2. Once in Paris - Diana Palmer. R.
3. Christy - Catherine Marshall. R.
4. The Historian - Elizabeth Kostova.
5. The Dante Club - Matthew Pearl.
Waiting to be read:
6. Dream Boy - Jim Grimsley. R. *... - I read this in high school, loved it and recently found it in my room. I would definitely recommend this book to mature teens and young adults but with the warning that it does deal with homosexuality, there is a lot of swearing, rape and abuse/molestation.
7. In the Company of the Courtesan - Sarah Dunant.

Movie night to night, be there or be square. What movie? Who knows.
I moved two weeks ago to a new house. It's nice to finally have my own bedroom but it's crammed with stuff and I have no where to put it because I don't have a dresser. I hope to find one that's cheap real soon. I also graduated. I offically have an associates in accounting. Yay, me.
